The LRIS is Integrated, Geographical Information System (GIS) based decision support system to cater 24/7 services to JaKLaRMA agency user, state public user, special agency external user for analysis, evaluation and information of revenue records and its ancillary details like Records of Rights, Jamabandi, Girdawari, Mutation and many more.

- Sh. B.V.R. Subrahmanyam, IAS, Chief Secretary, J&K convened a meeting to review writing / updating of Jamabandis(RORs) at Srinagar and directed to complete updating / writing of Jamabandis as soon as possible. Dated 10-Sep-2020
- The Govt. of J&K immediately after reorganization of the State in two UTs, established a separate Department of Registration for Registration of documents of immovable property in the UT of J&K. Dated 24-Oct-2021
- Sh. Basharat Bukhari then Hon’ble Minister for Revenue J&K inaugurated DILRMP in the erstwhile state of J&K at Jammu. Dated 18-Apr-2016

- National Land Records Modernization Programme (NLRMP) was introduced by Govt. of India after subsuming earlier two Programs viz. “Strengthening of Revenue Administration and Updating of Land Records (SRA&ULR) and Computerization of land Records (CLR)” aimed to develop a modern comprehensive and transparent land records management system. Dated 18-Aug-2008
- The scheme NLRMP included in the central sectoral scheme and revamped as ”Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme” (DILRMP) in the country. Dated 31-Mar-2016
